1998 S90 stopped running...

Was driving along and the engine just quit. Pulled over and can't get it started again. The battery turns the engine over ok and there is fuel pressure at the fuel pressure relief valve...so I'm assuming the fuel pump is ok.

Any thoughts on what it could be or what to check?

The car normally runs quite well even though its a high mileage car (600,000 km)

Had that happen on a Buick and it ended up being the crankshaft sensor. Are you sure the timing belt is ok? Have you had the codes read if any exist? I loved my 98 S90 the short time I had it. June

I have a '97 S90. If the Camshaft Position Sensor (CMP) is defective the engine may not run. However if you unplug the CMP the engine will start and run in derated mode. Try unpluging the CMP and see if it will start and run.
