Vida Dice software

Hi all,

I hope you're all keeping well!

Ive been looking at the software section of Vida Dice and wondered if it's possible to manually install the software update for ETM,ECM? I see where you get them from but I'm using a questionable copy from eBay so don't have credential to access the Volvo servers to buy said updates.

Has anyone had any luck with updating components using Vida using a uhummm copy?

If so does anyone have these files (updates) and if so I presume you can manually install them into Vida?

On another note I have read lots of posts online and here about reprogramming the CEM and some say it can be done with Vida and other say not as you need a PIN although it may be possible to clone the CEM??

Can anyone give a definitive answer if this can be done using Vida?

A full up,VIDA subscription from Volvo, yes. Too expensive for most of us, $1000 or so

With the bootleg version ypu buy from eBay, No.

Via Henry or Yagger here over internet, yes...for a nominal fee, approx $100
