This would be more what did you do in your Volvo today... why not share anyway :D

Sat in it for about a half hour and got to watch an overturned semi burn up about 500 feet ahead of me on I80/94 near the IN/IL state line.
http://www.nwitimes.com/news/local/lake ... 80762.html

Flames were intense, 50-100 feet up and due to heavy wind blowing across the opposite direction/eastbound lanes where I was, us eastbounders were stuck too until the fire was doused. I left the news/traffic station playing on the radio. About 20 minutes after I got through they said on the radio that there was another major incident eastbound between 2 semis in about the same spot after which both east and west bound traffic was blocked. Goodness.

It was a Volvo truck, too..
Amrik Bal, 56, of Indianapolis, was driving a 2014 Volvo semi pulling a rail container when he struck a tire laying in the left middle lane at about 12:41 p.m.

The truck then struck a concrete barrier median, causing the trailer to lose its rear tandem tires and roll over onto its side, according to Indiana State Police.

The diesel fuel tank ruptured, igniting a fire that engulfed the tractor, police added.

s10lowrider1994 wrote: 20 Mar 2018, 22:30 It’s from “Aully Park” on Amazon. Surprisingly nice leather for the price. I got the 9-5 for $700, it’s a pretty fun car now that it doesn’t spray oil.
I know that struggle... they're great cars though! I paid $400 for mine, it needed a head gasket. Replaced it along with a bunch of other things, drove it for a month and the head gasket started leaking again. The PO neglected to inform me that it was overheated... I'm assuming the issue was that I never bothered to have the head resurfaced.
The thing was a blast to drive though. Easily the best car I've owned.
Man that thing is pretty. Mine is ugly for now, but I did do the td04 upgrade and a bcb tune, it’s surprisingly quick.
Thanks! The BCB tune was on my list if I kept it, and it's definitely on my list for my next one. I'm hoping to find a manual Aero wagon soon and do a light build on it.
I've never driven a Linear with the GT17, but the TD04 was great. The 15t in the Aero boosted much harder than the 13g in my V70.

Hi,

Yesterday i brought home two 2x4 by 8 feet lumber pieces from Home Depot.
I was surprised they fit in there like no problem.
I was told that a board 24 inches by 8 feet (3/4 inch thick) would fit so i figured 2x4's should fit too, and they did very easy.

I havent fixed the gas shocks yet that hold up the tail gate so i had to use a piece of wood to hold it up, but it worked.
So i didnt need roof racks this time :-)
I’ve been driving a Volvo long before anyone ever paid me to drive one.
That's probably because I've been driving one since 2015 and nobody has offered to pay me yet.

I keep an old blanket and two bungee cords for lumber hauling in the 99but Lowe’s is a 30 mph 5 minute ride away

Roof rack Is still best , easiest To load, and no interior marks

But interior marks are less stressful than scratches on the roof. Unless you tear the carpet... then problems arise...

What a gorgeous car! This was mine, bought for $500 with a blown turbo, which I replaced successfully. Yet I had neglected to change coolant hoses, which resulted in a blown lower radiator hose after my first highway test drive. It was exhilarating.

Finally got around to replacing a headlight wiper arm and blade on the '98 V70, where the previous one basically broke apart and fell off.

I hadn't realized that the arm had to be pulled off after removing the nut.
