What are you having trouble with? The relay has 4 male connectors, I used 4 female connectors and added wires as needed. I think I used either 14 or 16 gauge.

I have zero electrical knowledge and could not figure out what gauge or what wire the red wires are I found a site that sells the pigtails but the offer a "fat red" or regular and I do not want to order the wrong part ...or even have to order it if I can just rebuild or refabricate a connection . Sorry I am a self educating woman.

It takes some guts to wade into a new area, and the only stupid questions are those that waste time for not being asked.
Everyone starts at the beginning, and we slowly eliminate the stupid mistakes as we learn.

Last week, someone caught me from putting in my airbags in backwards, so sharing with the collective is valuable to everyone.

We take pride here at MVS making this welcoming, with special focus on being female friendly in a field where thats not the historical norm. The membership here tends to the more grown-up side, present company excluded.

Zero apology needed. I wasn't sure what you're having trouble with and can't really help until I know.
Get the 14 gauge wires, you can always error on bigger gauge wires.

I cut off the 4 old wires with the connector, put in the 1.5 inch tube of shrink wrap over the 4 cut wires, then I used non-insulated butt connectors to add the new wires to the old wires, then I used a heat gun or matches to apply heat to shrink those shrink wrap. then I route the new wires to where I want them, measured, cut, then I crimped 4 blue female connectors at the end of those 4 new wires.

All these parts and tools can be found in your local electronic hobby store.

I would strongly suggest you search on youtube on how to use shrink wrap, non-insulated butt connectors, etc before working on your car.

Lowes and Home Depot have decent selections of electrical supplies, Ive found.

Hi sorry but could you tell me the size connector you used was it a 3.5 ?
