I've been completing the following repairs to my s70:

--Radiator Replacement
--Every Coolant Hose
--Oil Cooler Line Replacement
--Front and Rear Hydraulic Engine Mounts
--Front Right Engine Pad
--Transmission Torque Mount

I have been very careful to remember and keep track of all my bolts––but have one remaining bolt that I can't identify (I spent 6 hours to no avail).

In the collective expert opinion of this forum, can you identify this 12 mm bolt?

It’s an M8 x10mm

How about hood hardware or ECu cover screw?

- Probably the bolt holding oil cooler line...the difficult-to-access bolt.

Sorry, I believe it must attach to the engine somewhere.

Everything is reassembled, yet I'm still at a loss.

How about holding a ground strap or a wiring loom onto the subframe?

There is nothing I can think of that you mention other than maybe the oil cooler lines that may use that bolt size unless you removed other stuff in the process. Maybe if you removed something at the front of the engine when doing an engine mount.

How about that horribly inaccessible bolt that holds the oil cooler lines, near the AC compressor.

That is the one I am also thinking of, but not sure it is long enough.

(It's not the aforementioned and difficult to access oil cooler hose hanger bolt).

If 10mm it is likely a bolt that holds the radiator sandwich together.
