I've put off replacing a broken head light wiper motor all winter since I have to do it outdoors. I need it to pass inspection this month since my car has factory xenons. But this weekend when I was about to do it I realised I had purchased the side that is working and not the one I need as a replacement.. So its been put off again until new parts arrive.

So do you just drive around until you yourself decide the car isn't worth keeping or are there still rules but you need to be stopped and checked by chance for anyone to find out if you're following them or not?hethaerto wrote: 09 Apr 2018, 11:46 Luckily in TN safety inspections are not required. However, it's easier to buy a well-maintained car in states that do require it.

Just finished lubricating the trunk latch, all the support hinges and door locks with Kano's "Penephite", a penetrating oil loaded with graphite. Seems like good stuff.

Neither of the above. Isn’t AMERICA a great place? If you visit here, some States you will be amazed at what you see on the road. In NY we have safety inspections each year but they are about 1/3 as comprehensive as EuropeRattnalle wrote: 09 Apr 2018, 11:58So do you just drive around until you yourself decide the car isn't worth keeping or are there still rules but you need to be stopped and checked by chance for anyone to find out if you're following them or not?hethaerto wrote: 09 Apr 2018, 11:46 Luckily in TN safety inspections are not required. I got a BMW back from a dealer inspection with 1 mm of rear brake pad left because inspection only requires pulling one front wheel
