Yup that's the connector. At first I thought it was one of those old PS/2 connectors lol

The SC-801 manual can be found on-line but other than telling you how to select the CD unit it tells you not much else. So, if pressing the CD button does not work and there are CD's in the multichanger, then I don't know what is happening unless the CD changer is not actually loading a disc.

If you press CD button and nothing changes on the screen then there's problem with harness or connections. Maybe changer is dead but I doubt because these things are almost unbreakable.
