Besides moisture/fuel/coolant presence an oil analysis can measure metals (wear factors) and remaining additives.
My plan is to strictly maintain the use of one oil and have an analysis done when I approach the end of this current oil change interval.
I firmly believe there's a bias towards overly frequent OCI's to sell more oil (obviously) and to serve as a safety margin.
Any ripped media, unrecognized severe duty etc. will be "taken care of" by more frequent oil changes.
I just want to see how filthily my engine runs.
I help maintain a neighbor's 2010 Accord. They drive an average 13 miles a day with one 140 miles round trip a week. This highway run heats the oil well and at 5,000 miles the synthetic oil looks real good. Don't tell anyone but I use his old oil as top off oil in my cheap friends' cars.

I think the oil analysis reports on the degradation of the lubrication property of the oil, perhaps degradation of the additives in a synth? It also tells if the oil is contaminated with metals that normally shouldn't be present, which is an indicator of eventual issues with the engine.

Let me rephrase:
Of course it's technically possible to tell a lot of things if you for example do comparisons to an unused sample of the same oil you have in the engine.
I just don't see how it's relevant for regular cars that aren't driven very hard, have relatively low power outputs for the engine size and rather sensible OCIs.
7500 mi/10 000 km on synthetic oil really isn't very much so you can just assume it'll be in good shape. Using an ACEA A3 oil the interval for European sold cars is 20 000 km ->2004 and with ACEA A5 it's 30 000 km 2005-> and there still isn't a lot of issues with engine wear and oil consumption around here. The rest of the car dies first as a general rule though there are of course exceptions.
