I have looked at a few videos and have not found one with the type of pins that my car has. Mine are solid and do not have the point in the middle to push and release it. Hope this makes sense to someone that has removed a V70 2006 front door panel.
I don't want to start prying not knowing if I am going to break it or not.
Thanks for any help as always.
Shane

Those photos sure look like the head of the fastener is solid. However...
have you actually tried pushing in the center? The pins are very narrow (3/32in on my 2006) and sometimes I could not see the outline of the pin in the center when I did mine. The small diameter meant they did not press in unless I had a very narrow drift placed exactly in the center. Just making sure you have considered all the possibilities.

Among many changes after 2004 (Volvo went cheaper on many parts). I think these are not reusable like the older type with the center pin. Not sure if it works, but try grabbing a few dozens of the old type at the junkyard see if they fit in 2004+

Thanks for the replies. I hope to stop at the Volvo dealer tomorrow and ask for help. If they have stock, then that should show if they are reusable or one time use item. Having to roll down window isn't a big problem to open the door,,,forgetting to roll down window after you turn the car does tend to make me use words I shoulddn't, but does make my Misses laugh.
