1998 V70 GLT Help Hard Crank

I bought this car about a year ago as an experiment. It started long cranking about 3 months ago. It has never not started but wont start without multiple on/off and pressing the gas pedal or pumping. It has had the fuel pump, filter, pressure regulator and the fuel controller relay all replaced. It has also had the fuel injectors cleaned. Im not sure what else to do with it. Thanks

I am guessing it is probably the ECT sensor: https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/volvo- ... wf-9186486.

You can first check carefully the connector on the existing ECT for rotten wires and/or a corroded connection, sometimes cleaning that up will fix it. Or you can pull the ECT and check resistance at different temperatures. Or roll the dice and put a new one in. Does the temp gauge on the dash run at a solid 3 o'clock position when the car is all warmed up?

Do not put in the 15$ version, like this one: https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/volvo- ... -9186486-1. It will go bad very quickly.

Yes runs great once started and straight at 3 once warmed up.

I have 5 P80 cars so I just pulled one from another car and Ill try it tomorrow.
