Does anybody use this in your fuel or oil as an additive ? I use it in my diesels but ive never used it in a gas engine.

Thanks Robert, I met a tow truck driver that used this in his fuel and oil in a powerstroke 7.3 and has currently 600k on his engine without a rebuild or changing an injector. For me that is testament enough for me to use in my powerstroke. Thanks for posting this vid your input is greatly appreciated. As far as my 850 I will use it in my fuel for a while and we'll see what happens. I'll keep everyone interested posted on my results. My 96 850 has unknown miles an unknown maintenance.

I use Seafoam in my gasoline when I first get a used car and it often helps. I only use it when I am going to do a longer run to make sure the car gets a good and warm and steady run condition like on a highway. Main reason for that is many cheapskates run their cars with Regular gas and some brands of cheaper gas have limited cleaners in Regular gas so tend to gum up more in the injectors. In this case it is a trade off, of possible short term pain, long term gain.

If the oil looks like it is really bad I will add Seafoam to the oil for about 100km or so before an oil change.

The main danger concern I always have is a lot of older engines run well with a small amount of carbon build up which actually helps a worn engine with compression. Cleaning all that stuff off can cause the car to run worse initially until it builds back up.

I thought of that sea foam route also but with the miles on it Im worried about over cleaning it. Thanks for your help I will try out some Marval in the fuel for a while and see how it goes.
