Seeking identification on mystery plug

Hello! I’m working on my 2006 V50. It had an XM radio into, and iPhone 4 plug hard wired in. I have no need for either, so I pulled the waterfall and other stuff around to unplug all the XM unit, and I found this plug:

Appears to have 2 contacts on it, wires go into the same loom that the radio is on. The plug is tucked on the passenger side, just above the end of the floor carpet, which is close to where the aux input is located on newer V50s. I'm thinking (hoping) this is some sort of aux input? The XM unit was not plugged into this, the XM unit was plugged into the system via an antenna splitter hookup.

No clue...looks an awful lot like what you find in the engine bay for headlights. I'm wondering if it's a link to heated seats or something if it's not for XM as you speculate.
