Overhead air hose outlet

I plumbed rapidair system in my garage with 3 air outlets, the one on the ceiling is handy when doing brakes, no tripping over air hose on the floor. Complete kit was $77 and just clicks together , just push pipe into special fittings and they hold, easy to release for making changes to layout. No leaks.

Regarding the post preceding the Rapidair installation (which is tres' cool)
Didn't IPD start as a tuning company then added sway bars, undershields, lowering kits and the like? Adding yet more parts to their catalog was just evolution.

I used the rapid air system, but they market the 1/2" pipe as 1/2" which is fine if they stated it was O/D!!! What the frick is the use of an O/D in specifying pipes? I ran a bunch of pipes in my garage, but despite having the volume in the compressor and pressure required, I cannot get the volume of air through the actually 3/8" I/D pipe over the lengths I have. When I have more time and can clear all the crap out of the garage I will rip it all out and get the 3/4" instead (actually 1/2" I/D).

I believe they started as a Volvo performance and racing parts supplier for SCCA types. 120-series and 140-series. The original founder raced a nice 142 that's still around - I saw it for sale not too long ago.

I've always had good luck with ipd, but in hindsight, that was mostly the 240 days. I hate to hear these kinds of quality issues popping up, and hate to see them compared to some of those supplier names above. But Buyer Beware I guess. I'll see how long those HD strut mounts last and get back to you.

Sick of groaning and moaning from rear driver side area I pulled the wheel, feels stiff so pulled caliper and disk
Same, so decided to pull the bearing carrier hub. Took a day of banging on it, finally removed the brake hardware and brake cable, inserted a long ext thru the cable access hole and drove the hub off from behind WITH 4lb hammer.
Yep, the bearing is rough. Now to reinstall everything again until I can get the part. Doh.

Need the car on monday, picking up a metal roof kit for the garage. $550 from the amish.

Local guy quoted $1900 to put metal roof on small garage. !.
I'll do it. The tarp held up over winter with no leaks. Ins Co wants it done.

Ive got the air driven roof nailer gun and compressor if you want, jonesg.

Thats about 3 squares or 9 bundles of shingles - not too bad.

I got the kit from northern tool. $77.
It works for me. Adding a lot of so called necessary plumbing will lower output.
I plumbed it exactly like I run it , direct with just a regulator set high. If you set it at 90psi at the tank there's no way you're getting anywhere near 90 at the tool. More like 70 and that isn't gonna do much. You can run a decent impact from a tiny 3 gal pancake compressor with a bit of common sense, don't run it wide open, just blip it and be sure you have a gun that can actually do the job.
My old HF impact was useless at any psi.
200 ftlb will not do it.
I got the new aircat stubby, removes lugs from trucks, $100 amazon. I like the battery tools but they're pricey, too big and heavy.
If I can't get it in there to do caliper bracket bolts its not much use to me.

If I was spraying paint I'd install water separator , add the filters etc but I'm not.
I open the blowoff exhaust at the terminal manifold to purge any water in the line. Blast it out , attach tool and use it.
