I had some tree sap on the black on the driver's side door. It's from a pine tree and has been there for several months. The black decals around the windows is about to be replaced so I haven't bothered cleaning it off. The car has been through the car wash at least 60 times without removing the sap. Here is the photos I took which took longer than the sap removal. June

Back in the 90's I had a friend with pine trees over the driveway and my car back then would get bombed every time I went over. So I learned the 90% isopropyl alcohol trick as and it has always worked great without hurting the paint or a lot of elbow grease. It just melts away!
