If you are looking for front struts they are not Nivomats. Those are only fitted to the rear to self level when a load is put in the cargo area. Fronts use normal type struts, but as the V70XC sits higher, not sure if it uses a regular struts.

You need to know the code from the chassis plate by the battery on the LH inner fender. It is the first 2 digits of the 8 digit number on the lower right of the plate.
Vin plate
Vin plate
If you check the picture above it is the first digits of the lowest strip of numbers to ID the front shocks. In this case it is: F2

From that code a dealer or anyone with Vida can ID the strut part number for you and then you can see if any of the built up units have that strut included for your application.

I've yet to see any web-store offer all-in-one kits for my 2000 XC. I've done the suspension twice now and I've just bought the parts and assembled. It's honestly not too hard, the only annoying and slightly dangerous part is dealing with spring compressors. I just rent out two kits when I do it and double up.

Maybe give these guys a call and double/triple check the fitment. Looks like it might work. With the V70XC, many sites will say "Fits your vehicle" but in the fine print will then say something like "Excludes X/C..." etc.

If you click on the product details it lists the cars it fits which includes all the AWD versions EXCEPT the V70XC. It fits the 'R' and AWD which sit lower. Don't know what they mean it does not fit cars with self leveling as the 'R' has Nivomats, but not sure on the AWD. I know the S70 AWD I saw in the PnP last weekend had standard rear shocks.

If you check your product plate as suggest earlier I can find you a part number for the correct struts if that helps. I think though it is unlikely you will get a quick strut for a V70XC as there are no longer enough of them around.

Well boys and girls.... I have a 98 XC70. .. early Vin # and the front struts were worn out. I went to the scrap yard and pulled them off a 99 xc70... today 5 30 2018 I pulled the rear shock absorbers from a 98 AWD and installed them.... Mix and match with out any trouble... the new shocks restored the rear ride height. My wagon is probably about 6/7 different car/ wagon. It has 2003 AWD S 60 WHEELS on it with 215 45 17's...and yes I'm probably insane...
