Intermittent electrical problems: power windows and A/C

Having problems with power windows from time to time. Turning the engine off and on usually restores function. A/C now doing the same thing. Suggestions? Thanks!

Ignition switch or bad relays would be my first thoughts.

Pull and check the relays in the small fuse box (assuming yours is like my v70)
You may find some are badly in need of cleaning with a wire brush or just outright are ready for replacement.

Note that I'm not an expert by any means with the S series.

Thanks for your reply. I've been away for a few days, hence my delay in responding. I will check things out! BTW, the S70 and V70 seem to be the same thing, just finished differently aft. Cheers!
