I've tried searching and can't find an exact answer. I have a 99 s70 t5 that the auto transmission is failing. I haven't tried flushing the fluid yet, but I found a 97 850 (unsure what engine I'll know tomorrow) manual car even has new clutch for cheap. (Bad motor) I've done 5 speed swaps before, I'm just checking if its compatible and what all I might need.
I'd assume the following
Transmission
Clutch
Flywheel
Clutch pedal
Shift linkage
Shifter
(Hydraulic or cable clutch parts unsure what it actually is)
Speed sensors?
Wire reverse
Bypass park safety switch
Axles?
Remove TCM
I think that's it, at least if its compatible. If its not please let me know and if i I'm forgetting or missing anything let me know.

On a 1999 the ECU software will Be looking for TCU , which won’t be happy about the AT being missing
I believe this means you will have a check engine light on at all times. The solution will be to flash the ECu with software for a MT car, maybe another $200 of expense
