Thermostat Housing

Post by VolvoAffair »

Cracked the thermostat housing during my head install. Yes, I was using a torque wrench and still cracked it.

As such, I need a replacement for my 98 s70 T5

Thanks!

Did you clean the mating surfaces good and torque the bolts in stages?

Your go-to part here is a thermostat housing from any 94-98 850 or x70. Turbo or non-turbo or AWD or body style you can ignore, none of that matters. The RN heads (99 -onward) may or may not fit, I'm not sure.

It's a head install, he's not talking about the oil cooler thermostat.
