Hey guys!
Recently my Volvo threw up the P0455 error code. I've replaced the fuel cap and it still shows up after a code erase. What should I do next to determine the issue? I dont want to dump a bunch of money into it. I am going to replace all of my vacuum lines fairly soon, so that may fix it if I dont find the cause first!
Thank you for your help!

There are two hoses on the Evap canister that typically crack and cause this code.
First, find your Evap canister! It’s either under the driver fender or in the back on the passenger side

Thank you, abscate! I am a mechanic so I have access to alldata, so I'll use that to find the exact location of the canister! I am planning on replacing all of the vacuum lines with silicone ones soon, so hopefully once I do that it fix the code! I'll check those lines tomorrow to make sure they aren't cracked! If they are cracked, what size vacuum line should I use?

There are many variation of hose routings so you need to measure yours. It’s best to take it to you local place and match up.
My 1999 has the 1998 hose sticker under the hood...sigh...with a bunch of things that aren’t even present on my car.
The two big hoses on the Evap are about $50 total..the so called J hose and L hose ( based on shape )
