1993 240 shift assembly lighting

Greetings - I've replaced the bulb, but according to Bentley's, I'm missing some sort of 'retainer'. I have light, but currently the bulb is just free floating next to the shifter. Does anyone have a part number or modification to keep this lighting up which gear I'm in? Many thanks!

Or even a snap of what yours looks like - the Bentley's picture doesn't really show me where this should sit to illuminate gears with the cover on. Thanks!

Thank you - Looking at the Bentley's image, I'm supposed to have a 'retaining screw'. As it is now, its just free floating. In your image, it looks like maybe that is the top piece? is where the screw goes? And the bulb goes in the top piece?

In the shifter assembly diagram, the only screw related to the light is the Six Point Socket Screw that hold the top cap in place. I can see it in your picture. Push the light in the top piece and you should be done.
