Hello All,
Silly question. I'm trying to locate the ABS Control Module in my 1994 940 (NA). I checked behind the driver's kick panel, the passenger kick panel (ECU only), behind the glove box as well as under the passenger seat - NOTHING!
I would like to replace the module as it is showing an error code 1-4-2 (brake light circuit - it is OK), plus the ABS dash light is not functioning. I checked the dash light circuit and it functions but there is no signal coming from the ABS circuit itself. All the +12V ABS circuits as well as the grounds are all OK.
This leads me to believe that a problem exists with the ABS Control Module itself (Bosch P/N 0 265 101 031). So, where did the Volvo engineers hide the box????

Hello 93Regina,
Brilliant!! Had a look under the dash and there it was. Many thanks for the quick reply. Good example of how valuable a forum like this is.
