Update: just saw P0440 on OBD scanner. No Check Engine Light. Anyone with insight to this issue ?. Car runs great..but can't pass inspection with this code.
Checked OBD..Only 3 are Ready and Never get cleared whenever I tried to clear with the scanner. (The MIL, FUEL and Misfire ). Others continue to show Not Ready. Ive been driving car around just so the others might get ready but No Luck. Only P0440 keeps clearing and coming back. Any ideas as to solving this problem and get the car to pass Rhode Island Emission inspection which is due by end of August ?

Thanks.. Problem not J Hose. Already checked. All ok. Only I am yet to check around the Gas Tank. I read..some hoses down by the rear passengers tire leading to the tank may also get cracked. Ill find out tomorrow. Thanks anyway.

Could also be a purge valve.

A brand new Purge valve
(Botch) was recently installed
The problem might have been resolved yesterday after just tightening a seemingly loose hose connection from the newly installed Cold Air Intake leading to the MAF.
I drove the car around and later found out there are now 4 monitors good : MIL=Off, MISFIRE=Ready. FUEL=Ready. CCM=Ready. No Codes.
I think its just 1or 2 more monitors that I'll need to be ready as in Rhode Island where I live, at least only 5 monitors required to be ready in order to pass inspection. I'll drive around Again after fixing a leaking Coolant I believe from a broken Lower Thermostat Housing( Already ordered).
Thank you.

Most cracks in the vacuum hoses can only be found with a smoke test.
