Wha?
Is it a gas engine or a rattler?

2004 v70 awd.
Rear wheel bearing, not fun but it did fix the noise.
I can finally turn the radio down.

Petrol. Got 33 on the entire tank of 700 km including the way there, some motorway driving plus a short shopping trip.

Experimenting a little

Swapped a 120bar power steering pump from an XC90 on my S60 which has a 110bar pump. Steering is lighter now.

While there swapped a 160Aamp alternator from 2004+ instead of the 140Amp (2001-2003) one which is getting a bit too old. The 160A alternator has a different regulator but so far so good, it seems to be compatible backwards (while the 140Amp regulator may not work on 2004+ later cars)

I still have the roll with window tint film waiting in the drawer, I've watched a few Youtube videos on how to apply these and none seem to make this look as an easy DIY.

Default Google conversion measures. Whatever those are.

6,4l/100km in the cars own measure.

Window tinting seems terribly hard to get done well. I've thought about it but dismissed it.

Just an oil change BUT THEN I noticed a washer pump had popped out of its grommet at the base of the reservoir.
I pulled the grommet, cleaned its screen and stuck it all back in place.
Voila', windshield washer fixed.

Did the 330' km oil change last week and yesterday I ordered a stage 1 optimisation for the car. Been thinking about it since i got it. When I caught myself looking at BMW V8s longingly I realised it was time for some more oomph

252hp/410Nm. It'll be interesting.
