Guys, so i'm confused. I know where everything on this set goes, except for these two pieces.
The silver, rectangular ones with two holes on each. Does anyone know where this goes? BTW, i already finished the headgasket and timing belt (Annoying because the threads where the bolt goes were damaged from the previous owner's mechanic, I had to rethread it)
Only thing now is a small leak in the turbo oil return, pieces in the mail and will take care of that tomorrow or the day after.

My IT person (the wife) would kill me for clicking a link of unknown origin from someone I don't know.
And with your post count, I won't.
You should be able to attach a photo to your post.

I have never seen those gaskets on a US spec 2000-2004 S40 or V40. That engine family was used in a few versions in that car from 1996 to 2004 for other countries where it was sold.
The turbo is a 4 bolt single hole connection to exhaust manifold so they aren't for the exhaust on a US spec version. Those look like exhaust gaskets, maybe catalytic converter gaskets on a non turbo version sold elsewhere.

Alright, awesome, I just did the headgasket, replaced the intake and exhaust, the VVT gasket, all the camshaft gaskets as well, and was just curious "Where do these go..." lol Good to know, thanks! Just figured I'd confirm with you guys before chucking them.

Like jimmy57, I suspect those are exhaust gaskets for a normally aspirated car.
FWIW, Volvo used a 4-2-1 exhaust manifold-to-tailpipe design for their B18 and B20 (late 1960s/early 1970s, perhaps later, 4-cylinder) engines.
Your extra gaskets looks similar.
