ETS light on again, already did contactless upgrade

I recently had the ETS light come on, with a few throttle blips in first gear at low speeds. I did an ETM test with VIDA, and found some aberrations in one of the sensors, so I ordered and installed a contactless sensor upgrade. tested again, and got a much better pattern. Installed the ETM, reset the error codes, test drove and the car seems to run much better. The ETS light did come on again after a few hours, with the same position sensor error. Car still runs fine. I'm guessing the module must have a problem elsewhere and needs replacing, but I thought I'd check here first and see if anyone has any suggestions.
