Adding fog lights to a 2002 V40

I've got a 2002 V40 that I'd like to add fog lights too. The car has a factory fog light switch that controls the rear fog lights, but it has no front fog lights.

I've been looking for information about adding a set of fog lights and have not found anything. I haven't started looking at wiring yet either. I'm hoping I can pull a set of factory lights from another v40 and that a wiring harness might already be in place.

Has anybody done this before, and does anybody have a link to a write-up? Thanks!

I have no experience adding fog lights, but I suspect the car is already wired for them.

Pull the covers in the lower bumper and see if there are wire connectors there.
Also, pull the plastic dashboard knock-outs that are near the rear fog switches and see if there are plugs there.
There may be an additional relay or fuse to utilize.

I actually installed fog lights on my 2003 volvo s40, and replaced the light switch box in the dash with one that has the Front Fog Light button... no work

. Right now i haven't had a chance to do much, but i am going to make my own switch and use a relay and a resistor to make the connection to the fog lights from a 12v source. I'll figure it out and post anything i can on here.

When you installed the fog lights, did you find any unused plugs for them as part of the factory harness?
