im looking for replacement mags for my 850 I currently have the blade wheels on 205/45/16.
I can get a few different mag tipes. but the one im really keen on is the ford Focus St or the Ford kuga ones.
problem is the kuga ones are 19 inch.
do you think they will fit.

No they will not....they are too tall, too wide and offset is different on Ford...it's 50+.
18" is max and even with them you will kill all suspension parts pretty soon.
Those 45 profile tyres are too small for a car.50 was official and then changed to 55.

Are you purposely running the tires with too low a sidewall? The original 16" wheel was a 50 profile on 16" and Volvo later changed the sidewall to a 55 profile to a 205/55/16 tire due to many complaints of buckled wheels and split sidewalls.
I run 225/45/17 tires on Volvo rims and those are rough compared to a 15 or 16 inch wheel, especially with our pot holed roads.
So if you consider a 19" tire you can check on line checkers that can compare rolling diameter to give you a tire that will most closely match the diameter of the correct original size for your car.
Typically as a rough guide, for each 1" increase in wheel diameter the sidewall reduces by 5%. Using your current tire size you would be running a 30-35 sidewall which is a rubber band.
You are highly likely to easily bend the rim on rough roads.
Next think you would have to check is the following:
1) Lug bolt separation - 5 x 108mm
2) Offset - You may be able to get away with 36-49mm, but on a FWD make sure a 49mm offset (the larger the offset the further into the wheel well this wheel fits) does not foul on the parking brake cable.
3) Center bore : 65.1mm. You may be able to have a work around if bigger center bore using a Hub centric ring. If the wheel bore is smaller you would have to have the bore drilled out to 65.1mm
Neil.

I would even considder 17inch mags 16 inch tires are madly expensive here for some reason. and the 55 profile i have on now does really look awfull on the car. the 50 profile looks ok but i cant seem to find more of them. its a difficult tire to find localy.
and im just always a stickler for different mags on my cars.
I never had any problems with my Jetta with 40 profile 17's on.
but thank you for the imput guys. will pass on the 19s. wil keep searching for 17s.
