Bilstein HD front struts- no bump stops?? Topic is solved

Bilstein HD front struts- no bump stops??

Howdy- I'm installing HD front struts on my 04 V70. It seems that, since the HD pistons are bigger, the standard bumpstops won't fit with enough room to install the spring seat and mount.
Has anyone installed the HD struts without bump stops? Am I missing something? ( I have both the original and and a new pair and washers.)

I'm pretty sure Bilstein HD's have internal bump stops.

Don't know about V70 but the Bilstein HD in my 1998 BMW 528i has internal bump stops.
