Dangling connection

Post by bobbyz »

I was changing the oil on the V70 when I noticed a cable connection hanging down underneath the car, near the driver side front wheel. Does anyone know what that connection is for?
Is it a good idea to tie it up somewhere, or just let it hanging?

Thanks.

I’m guessing it’s the oxygen sensor connector and it should not be hanging. It clips into a harness under the shift linkage

As above but the clip breaks. Cat sensor. Try to push it to stay in some corner above so it doesnt hang exposed.
