Looking for info on the feasibility of retrofitting early P2 halogen headlight assemblies into a 05+ car. I will be doing this to an 06xc70 that has rather foggy plastic lenses.
I have read that EuroSport Tuning makes an adapter cable but cannot confirm based off of what I see on their website.
Any and all info appreciated!

I just bought a pair of headlight from the scrapyard wihtout noticing that their were a difference between the 2004 Volvo source and my 2006. It seems that the connector is not the same. I tough of bybass the connector, but the 2006 has 4 pins, but the 2004 has 3 pins only.
So I'm not sure was to do either.
Any hints someone ?
Thanks,

The difference is that 05 up have the single bulb in reflector for headlight as the park light. 01-04 use the turn signal position with a hi/lo dual filament bulb so the 4th wire would be to the park/turn bulb socket instead of back of lamp assembly. On the 05 wiring diagram park light (AKA position light) is labeled A3, where A is the headlight connector position 3. On 04 back the park light is connected to B3 which is pin 3 of the turn/park bulb socket.
05 is a white wire left and grey wire right in the headlight connector.
