I have my wife picking up Dielectric grease, MAF cleaner & Electric contact cleaner on the way home tonight. Any tips as i'm sure all kinds of connectors have that green looking corrosion on them. Ty

Hi, those are the tickets. My only comment would be if you can somehow get some physical scraping into a dirty connector it really helps clean it up. I've used a little steel wool around a very fine screwdriver for inside the contacts, the little flat blade itself for the outsides. But don't trash the MAF connector!!

Oh, the MAF cleaner is for the sensor body itself not the contacts you probably know that, and in my opinion it basically never works unless the MAF is visibly oily or dirty. So I consider MAF cleaner pretty useless. But maybe worth a try, it has worked for some who post here on the forum. Otherwise the MAF surface is super delicate, don't let anything other than cleaner come in contact with it.

Perfectly clear information on your end. What a great resource you have been for me. I have never owned a Volvo before so i've kinda been freaking out over all the electronics. I will keep reading as much as i can. Maybe put a small box in the trunk for misc parts i might need. Thank you so much Best _Bill

You're welcome! Let us know how you make out, you may not be singing our praises if the car decides it wasn't the MAF after all .. :D
