That's the swedish countryside this time of year for you. Grey with red houses.

How's this for scandi-noir? A few bends later these was a moose standing in the road. Big things up close. And just before was a badger.
Ah, that's why Volvo has the moose crash test! I don't think I have ever seen a moose before. June
Yep. Though that test isn't by Volvo it's by VTI, the Swedish National Road and Transport Research Institute. The height of a moose makes it fall pretty much in your face if you hit it straight on at speed. Not pretty.

We have deer, alligator, and the occasional escapee cow here in Florida. You would be shocked at the damage a eight foot alligator inflicts on a car on the interstate! Love your photos as well. So neat to see a part of the world I'll never see. I have a strict policy; if I can't get there in a Volvo, I'm not going! That will only change if Volvo finds a way to make a crash proof plane... Nice weather for working on the car.. Picture taken att noon and I'd say it's a fair representation of how light it actually is. What you can't really see is the water hanging in the air. Not quite rain but enough to make you wet.

Replaced the restrictive factory downpipe on my S80 2.4T with a 3" downpipe from BSR Tuning. Also replaced the stock exhaust with a new one with a modified midpipe (resonator delete).

Still sounds too soft, so will be looking at a nice 3" stainless catback :)

I really enjoyed seeing your photo, Rattnalle! Brings back fond memories travelling numerous times to Sweden from Germany in my younger years. I immigrated to the US in 1995.
In those days I didn't own a Volvo yet, but they were on my radar for sure. Most of the trips were for vacation and I drove my 76' Ford Taunus Turnier, do you remember those?
I always enjoyed the color of the houses all over Scandinavia, which inspired me to paint my house in the US this way. Sorry but I couldn't find a decent photo with a Volvo in the driveway.

Just don't go in that red house down the hill, whatever you do!!

This is very much like a nice Seattle day - it is not raining, but you are always wet.

We encountered a young moose on the way to Glacier Park this summer, just standing in the middle of the highway in the dark. We stopped. A Tribal police car happened to be coming the other way, flipped on his lights, and sort of shooed it off the road. We both waved and smiled and carried on.

Miss June, these beach photos are just not fair. We have moved to the long johns and wool socks stage already.
(kidding - I love the beach)

I'll take Grizzlies any day over oversize lizards and fire ants, not to mention hordes of New Yorkers in FL

June would make it worth it, though.

Got a set (of 5) Arrakis wheels to use in the spring. Probably need new tyres but so do my current summer wheels.
