Very nice! I checked out the V90 at the auto show here in Charlotte last week, and it's just a beautiful car. Very comfortable too, but it's a Volvo, so I wasn't surprised! I didn't even realize the non-XC V90 was available in the states without special order (last I read), but I guess it is.Ocelot wrote: ↑27 Nov 2018, 03:01 It's not something I did on my own Volvo, but it's something that happended at work. I work parttime as a so called hiker. I deliver and pick up lease and/or rental cars and sometimes... there's real fun cars to drive. And yesterday I drove this baby

It was a Volvo V90 T4 Racing and sweet baby Jesus, sometimes it was just scary to drive (so damn FAST). I'm a tall guy (2.05 m) but it was the first time EVER I had to place the seat forward in a car. I drove for a good hour before I reached my destination and it was just lovely. And a massage function in the front seats... praise those Swedish guys.
The one thing I really don't like (aside from the fact that all new Volvos use the same 2.0 turbo or twin charged 4 cylinders) is that big infotainment screen. I'm 20 years old and couldn't even figure out how to use the damn thing. When your target market for all this the tech can't even figure it out, maybe there's a problem! I'd love to be able to option it with a standard radio. Maybe I'd just swap an SC-901 into it, they sound great in my two P80s!
I'd have to drive the car to really judge the engine, though. I really wish they just developed a new 5 cylinder, but I guess the market doesn't care, and the 4 cylinder makes more sense with their "green" outlook now. It's a sad time for the internal combustion engine...
I also checked out the new S60... it uses the same beautiful design cues of the S90, but with better proportions (to me at least, I prefer smaller cars). Everything just falls into place much better.
