Yes - one can swap out the banjo bolt with the right spanner or ratchet without taking anything off. It is easier if one takes out the fan shroud and moves the oil pick up tube though.

My experience with the PCV Banjo bolt has been mixed. From 1 minute to 1 hour. I think with everything already in place and the hoses having a "memory" it should go together pretty quickly.

Maybe offer them $40 a car if you provide the part and do all three. Otherwise - try it yourself. If you can get a wrench on it without removing anything have a go at it. If I recall it is 17mm - just thread it in by hand as if you cross thread it you are in a world of hurt.

What I meant was "decommissioning the cooling hoses with a regular bolt/washer" to close off the coolant ports.
I don't really care for the coolant hoses.
All I need is the vent hoses.

I am not sure what you are trying to accomplish. The PCV Banjo bolt has a PCV function and the rest is a coolant loop.

The whole setup (coolant hose + vent hose) PN 30731068 is about $180.
Question: can one use generic heater hoses and replace only the rubber hoses, keeping the pipe system alone?
Of course, one has to cut the Oetiker clamps, install generic hoses with new clamps.

I have read that this can be done - I recall seeing a video of a guy doing it on the smaller hoses as the larger ones don't seem to fail. If it is not your daily driver (so you have some downtime) it would be worth a try. Safer approach would be to find a used one from a wrecker or Craigslist so you have a back up
