Great first car or winter driver! Listing my 1998 S70 NA (non-turbo) for sale. Nicely optioned with the rare heated cloth seats. The car has 76,000 original miles and that may go up slightly as it is driven. Purchased to drive through the winter but found something else so this needs to go. Always non-smoking and pet free. Carfax also shows an impeccable maintenance history, and some service records (plus original window sticker) will be included with the sale.
I’ve done a full overhaul of the car while I’ve owned it. Recent maintenance includes new Continental timing belt, Aisin water pump, timing belt tensioner, fresh coolant, new battery, LH axle, and new pads/rotors on all 4 corners. Also just had a full detail inside and out. Tires are newer Goodyears with lots of tread. I also added black Berber carpet floor mats. I’ll also throw in a P80 XC Egg Crate Grille.
The car has a clean green MI title but in the interest of full disclosure it was a previous insurance “total loss” due to parts and repair costs. Someone backed into the front RH corner denting the fender, corner lamp, and hood, resulting in a total (relative cost of repair was greater than 80% of car’s value). The damage has been professionally repaired using original Volvo parts. Pre-repair photos showing extent of the damage and the Carfax report are available for interested buyers. No airbags deployed and there was no structural/frame damage; it really was cosmetic damage only.
