Been researching this for a while now and ready to give it a shot. One question: are we able to push basic software updates to our Volvo’s? For example, many parts that are replaced require software updates to ensure the part works with your specific car.

I own an XC60 MY16 and I was wondering if your software can read my vehicle.
From what I read on this thread the software is working up to 2015.5 cars but what about 2016?
Have you tried to connect to a 2016 vehicle and it is not possible?

No there is a new protocol and software at dealers which has not been hacked and spat out by the Chinese cloners. From what I've read the new diagnostic platform is totally online but that could have been hype from over zealous dealers or Volvo corporate hoping a new breed of hackers won't clone this also.
