1. unplugging ABS's power via fuse

2. front sensors

3. do low/high beam test.

Then, report back....dangling conversations were for Simon & Garfunkel

Yes, I agree on dangling conversations. It's holiday time, we are getting about an inch of rain an hour, and the car is 20 minutes away from me.

I thank all for their patience in trying to assist me.

To confirm, I am doing the 3 steps below with the rear speed sensor still unplugged? Or do I plug that back in? Again, I am not super familiar with this '94 and may need explicit direction.

1. unplugging ABS's power via fuse

2. front sensors

3. do low/high beam test.

Ok I'll do my best to relay my steps in order in the odd case they help someone out. With rear speed sensor out., I removed the ABS. Fuse. then I cleaned the front sensors . Then drove around block with rear sensor out. No action from anything. Then took a ride after plugging in rear sensor. Fronts cleaned, ABS fuse out, the same symptoms. No speedo, tach is fine, odometer and trip meter are going 3x the rate. No alterations when changing from no lights to low to high

Have chance to be near someone with 940/960 parts in the next week
