THANK YOU for your comprehensive, thoughtful reply. And Merry Christmas! I did do the drain/refill using MaxLife 'High Mileage' that I had on hand. Was going to buy more to replenish my inventory but haven't found any store carrying it yet. All seem to have the MaxLife Synthetic though and at cdn$32/liter at Walmart seems a good value. But I would still like to find the 'High Mileage' version if they still make it to continue using in my '99.
