Manifold sure looks nice and clean. I scrubbed mine just internally. With the intercooler and radiator removed it must of been easier getting your banjo bolt mounted? I finished my PCV cleaning today and mounting the new banjo bolt onto the manifold was the hardest task.

Lol! I had to move away and cool off, drink water before the next try on bonjo bolt.
I did not use Volvo thread sealant PN 1161056 on bonjo bolts. Unless someone says otherwise, I can go back, remove bonjo bolt to intake & one on coolant line and redo bonjos with thread sealant.

What matches Volvo sealant in Permatex at local parts store? Found this:

One of the four long oil pan screws on transmission side is soaked with oil.

I just ordered that kit for $16.20 total! I got $10 discount using payapl and another $3 discount being a new Aliexpress user.

I'm getting the ebay repair kit delivered next Monday but it doesn't hurt to have more on the shelf.

Almost certain the injector that had a partially broken pintle cap is now leaking. The fuel mixture ratio is fine but the engine now shakes bad when I turn her ON or OFF. I checked the top engine brace and I couldn't tighten the bolt via the mount any further.

Looks pretty decent for vehicle of it's age. When I drop my pan I'll first pressure wash it. I'll then scrub it down with denatured alcohol.

If you want to use Simple Green then dilute it and rinse it off that aluminum pan as quick as possible.

Poured two cups of simple green 50/50 mix then used long handle parts cleaning brush for an hour. Rinsed with cold water. Easy access surface came out clean, but hard to reach area under the plate needs 2nd round -- texture like dirt mixed with oil.

Little bit of turbo sludge but not bad. We're you running synthetic?

Cleaned up really nicely.

I had to do a sludged VW 1.8T that was losing oil pressure at idle that was comparable. Might have pictures to compare somewhere.
