00 S70 GTL SE got hit, outside temp no longer displayed

My daughter's car is a 2000 S70 GLT SE, and she lives in Brooklyn NY - where her car seems to be constantly getting hit when she's not around.

This time they hit her in the front, bashed the grill in, and damaged the front bumper cover on the drivers side. I've already found a used grill, and the bumper I managed to get back into position and reasonably secured.

But the outside temp display in the dash stopped working when this happened. Where's the sensor for that? Somewhere around/behind the front bumper?

The sensor plugs into the front spoiler area. On my XC is is on the right hand side of the car right next to snap in grill section by the fog light.
