Mobil 1 synthetic.
Sending a sample to Blackstone for analysis.
Blackstone tells me the oil is doing well at 7500 miles

Fixed w/s wiper motor on sis' XC90. Is that nut on the output shaft of the wiper motor known for coming loose? I used a new nut + epoxy between the shaft and the arm + impact hammer + loctite on the nut. It shouldn't ever come loose again on her. Fortunately the wipers didn't fail while she was driving.. in the driveway before she pulled out. I cleaned and put fresh synth grease in the arm pivots bearings while I had the whole thing off the car. The wipers run noticeably faster now, like they do on my S60.

Not sending a sample to Blackstone, I'll use abscate's data.
Data is up thread !! 10,000 mile OCI easily supported on my NA 2005

Thought bubble - if I were buying a car and someone had a couple of oil changes of Blackstone data, I would feel pretty good about the engine condition in terms of blow by and metal wear. I don't see many doing this or at least advertising it.

I'm pretty sure my S80 had one of those. Might have been part of the package with the shopping bag holder on the right side.

Replaced driver side window on new-to-me XC70. One of the blue plastic nylon sliding blocks was completely gone, thus window stuck half open. Window jammed and broke. Used Harry's replacement. About 40 min. start to finish. Wife helped with extracting replacement and son held window in place, so a true family affair.

Picked up a new project V70 with blown engine, test drove a nice V70 NA stick.

Totally awesome ride with my helper on a 6 hour round trip pickup ride

I think you meant S70 project, unless it morphed into a wagon on the trailer. :D
