Hey Folks...
I just ran across an 05 V70 Base 5speed. It's showing 90,000 miles and the owner says it has a bad trans. He has a replacement trans but is a bit more of a project to install than he was willing to take on. I'm just wondering if there is any interest in the 5 speed cars? I don't think that anyone in my area would consider buying a manual trans car.
The car is very clean...cloth upholstery...a few minor dings in the roof...someone may have put something up there to transport.
I was thinking about picking it up, replacing the trans and servicing it but didn't know if it was worth my time and effort.
I'm partial to the older v70s so it's not a keeper.
Thanks.
Ed

Nada in my area shows this is a $3812.car in clean retail condition
That transmission job is 10-12 hours in driveway , plus $1000 in parts, if you do a clutch, too.
Sounds skinny.
