XC90 Connector Identification

Post by Matthiasfan »

Hello!

I recently purchased a 2005 Volvo XC90 2.5t. While looking under the hood, I saw this connector without anything connected to it. It is located on the driver side, next to the air box. Can someone tell me what it is for and if I am missing something?

Thanks,
Greg

If it's 3 wires (green-white, violet-white, red), it's probably for the old Bränsledriven värmare 912-B, PN 30661774.

This one only has two wires; one looks red and the other black.

Yup, connector has two conductors- Red with Black Stripe, and Brown with White Stripe.

It's for auxiliary lighting- https://forums.swedespeed.com/showthrea ... umbers-Etc

That’s great, thank you!

I was just concerned that it was supposed to be hooked up to something and wasn’t. That’s a relief!
