2013 XC90 backup camera stopped working

A mid-size luxury crossover SUV, the Volvo XC90 made its debut in 2002 at the Detroit Motor Show. Recognized for its safety, practicality, and comfort, the XC90 is a popular vehicle around the world. 2013 XC90 backup camera stopped working

The backup camera on my 2013 XC90 started becoming intermittent a few months ago, and now has ceased operating completely. When the vehicle is put into reverse the screen goes black. No backup lines, no image, nothing. This is the factory installed system with navigation. Anybody seen this and know what the problem could be?

Look for loose or dirty connections to the camera.
