2000 s40 limp mode?

So the car suddenly threw up a bunch of warning lights and the gauges stopped working. Car idled very rough, and when I stepped on the accelerator the car barely moved. Also there is enough air being released from the oil cap to shoot hot oil all over my face when removed. Clogged pcv valve or is the engine just gone? Ive been told it could be the alternator, or the electric system. Ive installed new led reverse lights, headlight bulbs and a car audio system
could any of these things cause the car to have engine problems like this? Thank you.

The alternator or electricals will not cause oil to be sprayed in your face.

There just is not enough other information provided to determine what your issue is.
Any codes?
