Where’s the best place to get a turbo, wary of buying used and not sure which shops are good for them used. 15g or 16t either one will work.

Go to eBay, ask seller to step up and verify end play and side play

Rebuild kit is cheap and easy to do

I’ve got one in my part out I can check, I think it’s a 14T though

G-pop Shop is super reliable but you'll pay a lot more than on eBay.

My extra turbos are also small ones, no 15g or 16t.

I wouldn't hesitate to just drop in a used one with less than 200k on it that was checked for shaft play. These turbos are extremely hardy.

You’ve got good junkyards I think? They really are robust pieces of kit and a turbo for:a wrecked car is 99% good. No reason to pay an eBay grifter markup for beat ing you to the junkyard and taking it off before you, that’s all they do.

The stock pictures they show rarely reflect the grimy part you get in a cereal box, either.

Our favourite up here, Harry’s, charges $60 for a turbo that you pull.
