04 xc motor and tranny swap question

04 xc motor and tranny swap question

Will a engine and tranny out of a 07 xc70 drop into my 04? Both are 2.5t

The only engine used in the 2003 - 2007 AME XC70 is the B5254T2. The only transmission is the AW50/51 AWD. Should be a direct swap. Use only the control modules from the '04 and it should be smooth sailing.
