The car has been running fine.
Today I jacked up the passenger side to take a look at the A/C dryer and there
was a drip, drip, drip from the driver's side axle area of trans fluid. I replaced
the seal with a Volvo OEM part.
I do remember someone saying that the level of the trans fluid is not much higher
than the axle so if we let it drain to that level can it wait until the fall when I have
more time to work on it?
Perhaps the clip didn't click all the way in?

Have I mentioned that I hate this car?

Thoughts, suggestions?

I mentioned in this thread that I used stale gas to remove the old grease
inside the CV joints. Wanted to mention that I was working on another car
and the instructions with the boots mentioned not so use a solvent to remove
the old grease but rather to use a soap solution - just wanted to mention it.

I don't really see how a solvent could cause any problem as long as it is
completely dry before the new grease is applied.
