I installed the IPD Poly Subframe Bushing Insert Kit on my XC70 last night. It seemed to tightened the car up a bit. I also noticed some clearance issues with my passenger front LCA where it is rubbing with the frame. The LCA and bushings have about 2,000 miles on them so I hope the bushings are not bad.

Fitted a ProPerfekt diverter valve, a popular mod with the Renault guys, but not so much for Volvo? I fitted it on my TD04HL-13T and fitment was 100%. Holds the boost better than the stock DV. Worthwile upgrade imho

Moderator Steve (abscate) was helping me out with a PCV service on the V70 R today. I understand now why mechanics are paid what they are. That job is a bear. Minor setback when discovering parts supplier shipped wrong oil trap and we determined we couldn't reuse the metal/rubber breather pipe (the long one that runs across the block behind the intake manifold. Awaiting parts delivery to finish. I wouldn't have attempted without Steve's help (and help is an understatement as he was principal wrench to my supporting cast). Awfully nice to spend some more time with Steve as well.

I've done this job 2x together with my brother on NA P80s and it isn't so bad. Maybe a 3 out of 5 wrenches. Totally different animal on a turbo P2 (and perhaps especially the R). I'd say its a 4 of 5 wrenches on a turbo P2. Two banjo bolts to deal with and, as with the P80, access to the lower intake manifold bolt next to the #1 cylinder (immediately adjacent to the thermostat housing) is problematic to say the least. Learned something new today (I'd starve if I had to make a living as a mechanic).
