although I've still got the 2900 code with new FPS, fuel filter and (used) replacement PEM, I'm not experiencing any symptoms anymore. Topic not solved but should I encounter the stuttering and stalling like before the fuel pump will be replaced.

Also, has the truck leaked from the sunroof drain yet? Down on near the floor on drivers side like, 3 inches from door frame is a wire loom, there is one kind of by itself, mine looked fine from outside but was all burnt inside. I was told it had something to do with the fuel tank pressurizer. Anyway I cut the wires back and soldered them. my codes went away.

Thanks, but no sunroof but I did just replace the headliner and everything went well. Replaced the gas cap too. Drives great!!

final update on this thread. After replacing gas cap and after the HD magnets on the bottom of the gas tank were installed I don't experience any symptoms anymore. It still has the CEL on for the 2900 code but I've learned to just live with it. Annoying but the truck runs great.
